  • Library Information Associate, Senior, Job #56340, collaborates with another Library Information Associate, Sr. to lead and supervise the Delivery, Description, and Acquisitions (DDA) production area, including planning, coordinating and prioritizing daily work to meet defined quality standards, troubleshooting software and hardware, training staff and student employees, developing and updating training documentation, and communicating with DDA and library staff regarding the work of the production area. The production area is a busy and dynamic work environment which includes interlibrary loan, document delivery for UA owned material, video-streaming production and customer service.  Requires:  Bach. degree AND 3 yrs progressively responsible library experience; OR, 7 yrs related experience.  Salary:  $35,552 annually.  Opened:  8/27/14; Closes: 9/10/14.
     
  • Applications Systems Analyst/Developer Sr., Job #56273, will play a key role in the development and improvement of web and internal applications in support of the Libraries’ internal business operations as well as the Libraries’ externally-facing services. Part of the UX-Development work team, develop applications and create scripts; design, write, test and maintain software codes; and consult with, analyze and evaluate user requests and requirements and recommend solutions. Requires: 5 yrs experience in programming application systems using relevant technologies and programming languages; OR, Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4 yrs experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND 2 yrs experience; exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.   • Systems Administrator, Sr., Job #56271, will play a key role in the development and improvement of server infrastructure. Part of the UX-IT Operations work team, collaborate with other technology staff in administrating current production and development systems, with a focus on the Libraries’ Linux systems. Employ both traditional system administration practices, as well as DevOps practices to further the Libraries’ ability to scale its systems support; analyze user needs, develop appropriate requirements, and architect servers and systems. Requires: Five years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including the installation, testing and maintenance of hardware, operating and applications systems and utilities; OR, Associate’s degree in MIS, Computer Information Technology or related field AND 4 yrs experience; exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.   • Marketing Specialist, Associate (Publicist), Job #56093, for the University of Arizona Press, an award-winning publisher of scholarly and regional books. Plan/execute publicity strategy for 55-60 trade, scholarly and reprint titles per year; manage author and publishing-partner relations; represent the Press to regional and national media outlets and other local/national partners. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts or related field AND one year experience in development of comprehensive marketing plans or book publishing experience or advertising; OR, 5 yrs experience in same; ability to lift 40 lbs and travel to off-site events and meetings, and work occasional evenings and weekends.   • Library Information Analyst, Job #55567Lead training coordinator and manager of Information, Reference and Referral Processes to include designing, developing, maintaining and coordinating training, in collaboration with others, for all Access and Information Services (AIS) staff and student employees. Responsible for performance oversight and feedback to staff across AIS; provides customer service, information, reference and technology assistance; and coordinates the work of and supervises student employees working at AIS service sites. Requires: Bachelor's degree AND five years related library experience; OR nine years related, progressively responsible library experience. Salary: $41,668 annually plus full benefits.
