Appointed Positions

This category includes both library faculty and year-to-year professional positions.

  • Director of Development, University Libraries, (Year-to-Year), Job #52611.
    Develops, leads, directs and manages all development activities of the UA Libraries, working with major gift prospects and donors to secure gifts of $25,000 or more.  Supervises two employees.  Required to travel on a regular basis throughout Arizona and other regions and to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary.  Requires: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 3-5 years of development experience or development-related skills. Salary:  DOE annually, plus full benefits.  Opened:  5/14/13.  Open Until Filled; First Review of Applications:  6/7/13.   

Classified Staff Positions

This category includes Library para-professional positions as well as other occupations such as administrative assistant, accountant, support system analyst.

  • Library Specialist, Senior (On-Call)-(Multiple Positions), Job #51675 
    Needed during the academic year to assist customers with circulation and basic research questions; provide basic software/hardware support; ensure safety of library customers, employees and library material through application of policies & procedures. Requires: Bachelors and 2 yrs library experience; OR, 6 yrs library, info center or related work experience.  On-Call and Part-Time, schedule to be determined.  Pay: $13.17/hour; ineligible for benefits.  Opened: 1/7/13 until Filled; First Review 1/15/13.
