Special Assistant to the Dean, University Libraries, Job #54773. Conduct background research and prepare written material, speeches, reports, research papers, presentation materials and other written documents for meetings; lead assignments or projects as assigned, and coordinate planning of special events and presentations as directed by the dean. A strong candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational and critical thinking skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity and deadline pressures are common and collaborating as a team is expected. Minimum qualifications include: strong knowledge of or experience in academic libraries; excellent skills in writing, editing and communicating; and exceptional organizational skills required to handle multiple time-sensitive responsibilities, set priorities independently, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Requires: Strong knowledge of/experience in academic libraries, excellent writing, editing, communication and organizational skills. Salary DOE plus full benefits. - Library Specialist, Senior (On-Call); (Multiple Positions), Job #51675. Needed during the academic year to assist customers with circulation and basic research questions; provide basic software/hardware support; ensure safety of library customers, employees and library material through application of policies & procedures. Requires: Bachelors and 2 yrs library experience; OR, 6 yrs library, info center or related work experience. On-Call and Part-Time, schedule to be determined. Pay: $13.17/hour; ineligible for benefits. Opened: 1/7/13 until Filled; First Review 1/15/13. We continue to accept applications should a new need occur.
