East Asian Collection houses over 190,000 Chinese and Japanese items in book, serial, and microform formats.  Areas of strength in the Chinese collection include: literature, language & linguistics, language pedagogy, Buddhism, history, sociology, economics, political science, and Chinese calligraphy.
