Subject Guide

The Children's Literature Collection has over 30,000 books, about 20,000 of which are fiction and 10,000 of which are non-fiction. The collection includes materials appropriate to kindergarten level through high school. It is a representative, rather than a comprehensive collection. The collection includes the Caldecott, Newbery, and Coretta Scott King Award books as well as many other award winning titles. The Children's Literataure Collection can be found on the second floor of the UA Main Library. It is refered to in the catalog as the Main Juvenile Collection.
