About the Libraries

The Children's Literature Collection has approximately 25,000 books, about 20,000 of which are fiction and 5,000 of which are non-fiction. The collection includes materials appropriate to kindergarten level through high school. It is a representative, rather than a comprehensive collection. The collection includes the Caldecott, Newbery, and Coretta Scott King Award books as well as many other award-winning titles. The Children's Literature Collection can be found on the second floor of the UA Main Library.
