Library building use policies
During public hours, the library buildings, including collections and facilities, are available to everyone.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult, or making bona fide use of the government documents collection.
Only current UA Students, Faculty, Staff, CESL students, and UA Affiliates with a CatCard are allowed access to library buildings during late night hours. During the Fall and Spring semesters, a CatCard is required during these times:
Main Library: 9:00PM-7:00AM
Science-Engineering & Fine Arts Libraries: 9PM-closing
Hours change during summer session, winter session, and spring break. Check our hours page for details.
There is no access during hours the library is closed. No one may enter or remain in the buildings when they are closed except for UA Library and UA Facilities employees or UAPD.
