Credentials certifying that Grover Perry is an appointed organizer of the I.W.W. It was originally used in the trial of the United States vs. William D. Haywood, et al. This exhibit was part of the deposition of John W. Hughes for the Michael Simmons vs. the El Paso and Southwestern Railroad Company.

            To Whom It May Concern: The bearer fellow worker Grover Perry has been duly appointed as Organizer and Camp Delegate for Local Union No 400 I.W.W. and is authorized to collect dues and initiate members. Dues are 50c per month. The initiation fee for new members is $2.00.

            Dated this 10th day of Feb. 1917 and signed by the General Sec’y Treas. of the I.W.W. and countersigned by the officers of Local Union No 400 who have been authorized by the Union to place the Seal upon these Credentials.
