The marriage of Coatl and Xochitl.

In the bottom left corner, "Serpent" Coatl, lord of Xicotepec, is conversing with Xochitl (right), daughter of Moctezuma II. The tongue glyphs signify speech. Above her daughter, Moctezuma II, king of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, is pictured.

The year glyphs at the top signify the years 1510 through 1515.
