Mailings, Newsletters, and Robos, 1961-1992

Boxes 683-700 (17 boxes)

Arranged chronologically by Congress, then alphabetically by record type.

Contains copies of printed materials mailed in response to constituents inquiries on current topics in Congress; newsletters, mailing lists, working files, and correspondence from recipients of the newsletter commenting on the merits of its contents; and robotypes of standardized answers to constituent's correspondence containing views and questions about events or issues before the Congress. There is also a subject file called "Issue" which is comprehensive and follows the mailings, newsletters, and robos. Approximately one linear foot of duplicates and loose, un-annotated and undated clippings were weeded from this series.
