Contains correspondence, memos and printed materials on various individuals, activities and topics of interest to MKU and his office. Of particular note are files headed "Diary" regarding notable events of the year involving Morris Udall; "District Office" correspondence with his assistants in the home district; and "Political Files" on local, state and national political parties, colleagues, events, and publications.

There is also a subject file at the beginning of the section on speeches (4.4). This is designated "Speech Materials". There is also a subject files appended to 4.3 (Mailings, Newsletters, and Robos).

Weeded from this series were routine office administrative files including requests for publications, office operations, equipment, accounts, vouchers, wedding invitations, invitations, condolences, requests for flags and inaugural tickets, gifts, intern resumes, referrals, and subscriptions.
