Book Donations
Got Books? - The Friends have a new convenient drop-off!
If you have books in good condition and thinning or clearing shelves at home or in the office, please consider contributing them to the Friends of the UA Libraries. The Friends accept books all year round (no journals please). Most donations will go towards the Annual Book Sale, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase important materials for the University of Arizona Libraries' collections. Your donation of books may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please note that we are unable to provide an appraisal of book donations.
The Friends have a new convenient location at 301 N. Cherry Street located on the NW corner of Cherry Avenue and 8th Street which and two blocks south of the stadium (print flyer). You may drop off donations on Thursdays between 9:30 am and 12 noon. Parking is available at no cost.
For those of you, who enjoyed Friends Annual Book Sales in the past, please mark your calendars. The 2008 FOL Book Sale will be held from March 14-16 (Friday-Sunday). See the calendar of events for specifics.
