Books of Honor
Books of Honor Fund
The Books of Honor Fund was created to ensure that students and faculty have the library resources that are crucial to their studies and research. The fund was established to guarantee the UA community the essential resources needed to maintain the quality of education, learning and creativity that it has come to expect.
You are invited to participate in the program by providing the libraries with the gift of new books in the subject area of your choosing (Arts, Humanities, Science and Engineering or Social Sciences). A bookplate will be placed inside each new book with your name and the name of a special person in whose honor the book has been purchased. Your gift will support a critical acquisitions need while paying a lasting tribute to a loved one, friend, professor, graduate, parent or colleague.
When you make your gift to the UA Libraries' Books of Honor Fund, a letter of acknowledgement and a copy of the bookplate will be sent to you and the honoree or his or her family.
