Mobile Databases
Not all library databases are optimized for mobile devices. For a complete list of all library databases, see our A-Z Databases list.
In addition:
- All mobile sites and apps may not work on all mobile devices.
- PDF files and sites using Flash may not display on all mobile devices.

- These apps may require you to first sign up for an account through the full version of the database. Follow instructions given below.
- Some apps will only give you access to full-text if you are on campus using UAWiFi.

Journals from American Institute of Physics. Articles can only be accessed and downloaded while on campus connected to UAWiFi. Once downloaded to your device, you can access them from anywhere, even without a connection. -- Find out more |

Elsevier Science journals. Vist our full ScienceDirect site, click on "Register" to sign up for your free account, then use this and your UA email to sign into the app. -- Find out more |
Send-to-Mobile Options from your desktop or laptop

Stream music and videos to your mobile device! Just search them from your desktop or laptop computer through our full web site (links on left), and look for phone icons  next to titles of individual selections. Click on the icon to open a window with options for access. These links are good for 48 hours.(Note that long videos may freeze up over a WiFi connection.) |

If you happen to be using the full version of the UA Library Catalog, you can also text the title, call number and location of a book to your cell phone before  going to look for it. Look for the "Send via Text Message" buttons! |

Full text is accessible when connected to UAWiFi, and this will automatically pair your device to our subscription for off-campus access for at least 6 months.
