An aristocratic woman tourist, newly widowed and broke, is both attracted and repelled by him. Based on "Typhus" by Jean Paul Sartre. Starring Michèle Morgan, Gérard Philipe, Victor Manuel Mendoza, Carlos Lepez Moctezuma, Michèle Cardone, André Toffel, Arturo Soto Rangel, and the inhabitants of Veracruz.
