No Man's Land

He then watches as two Serbian soldiers use the body of a fallen Bosnian to bait a land mine. He fires on them, killing one, and taking the second hostage. Not by Bread Alone

Feature Film — In the post war years, Lopatkin, a destitute school teacher, invents a revolutionary method for the preparation of double layered pipe for use in the chemical industry. In attempting to introduce his invention, he clashed with a reactionary department of bureaucrats, the head of which is the director of the pipe factory, Drozdov. Lopatkin sticks to his principles, even after being sentenced for sabotage on trumped up charges, and never gives in.
