Concordances
A search in the Library Catalog will produce concordances to the works of many authors. Type in an author and 'concordance' as a keyword search, so Herbert and concordance, and see what the library has.
The Bible in English (subscription database through UA)
In addition to thirteen complete Bibles, there are five texts that comprise New Testaments only, two that contain just the Gospels, and William Tyndale's translation of the Pentateuch, Jonah, and New Testament. A search can be made across all editions, a selection of them or within a single edition

Indo-European Roots (Index in American Heritage, 4th Edition)--you would need to know the Indo-European entry word to use this. If you don't know that, then use the American Heritage above. In the etymology section of the definition for each entry world, you will find a link to the Indo-European root.
Dictionary of Literary Biography--Available online as Literature Resource Center (subscription database).This is an excellent resource for finding biographical information. Print volumes are held in Main Reference (Research West) at PS221 .D5. Select the last volume and use the index to locate the correct volume(s) for your author.

Look for the periodical title in the library catalog; get the call number and find that call number in the stacks using the call number location guide to find your article.
