If you know you're only allowed to use "scholarly," "refereed" or "peer reviewed" journal articles, do one of the following:

• Before you do your search, click the box marked "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals" in the Limit your results section of the search page

or

• Once you've done your search, select the Academic journals link on the left column under heading: Narrow Results by

This will limit your results to articles from scholarly journals, as opposed to popular articles from magazines.
