WHERE TO START?
General guidelines:
The Library offers a variety of resources to help you with your research. The following links can be very useful:
- Subject Guide for French Resources Lists and connects to the most important resources available for French Studies. They are grouped in broad categories (i.e., articles, encyclopedias, biographies, web resources, statistical resources, etc.).
- UA LIBRARY WEB SITE, the U of ALibrary web page, is a gateway to:
- Search the Library Catalog. This link connects you to the Library's online catalog of books, journals, newspapers, videos, databases, etc. as well as to other library's catalogs.
- Search for Articles. These are electronic indexes. You can search for articles written in journals, magazines, newspapers, etc.
- Reference Resources. Links to various library reference sources available online.
- Subject Guides : A collection of subject-specific pathfinders developed by UA librarians to assist specifically with your research (i.e., history, geography, chemistry, Africana studies, Latin American Studies, etc.).
