Primary Sources in UA Library
Some materials can be found using either the Library catalog or WorldCat. Primary sources are found under the following Library of Congress subject terms: Sources; Biography; Diaries; Correspondence; or Personal Narratives.
PRIMARY SOURCE MATERIALS IN UA Library Catalog.
- Click on Search the Library Catalog.
- Change the drop down arrow to Subject.
Type the name of your country or the Library of Congress Subject term. - OR, just type in your subject term or terms in the box labeled Any Field
- On the next line type in the words that are used for Primary Sources. Put the word, “or,” between the words,
- Example: sources or biographies (use Biography instead of autobiography), or diaries or correspondence or personal narratives.
- Sources include personal narratives, diaries, autobiographies, government documents, correspondence, etc..
