Lexis Nexis Academic Universe
You can find the transcript of most news broadcasts by using the Guided News Search and selecting "Transcripts". Then enter as much information as you can remember. If you remember what channel you saw the report on (i.e. CNN or NBC), you can limit your search to that particular channel. Coverage varies from network to network and progrm from program to program. Some as early as 1982 to present.

Good source for science. It includes many scholarly and popular articles in full text or with links to full text in Sabio. Full text from 1992 to present and citations only from 1980 to present.

Agricola
This database is very useful for locating information on environmental topics related to agriculture such as pesticides, fertilizer runoff, overgrazing, etc. Citations with links to full text when available. 1970 to present.

Biosis Previews
Biological and biomedical literature. Citations with links to full text when available. 1969 to present.

Medline
The source for articles related to medicine or health. Links to full text when available. 1966 to present.

Web of Science
Citations and sometimes links to full text. Use the GENERAL SEARCH. Some materials back to 1945.
