Vanderbilt Television News Archive
This is a unique index of evening news broadcasts (some back to the 1960s) from ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, as well special news reports and more. Abstracts include names of reporters, a summary of the event reported, the beginning and ending times for each news segment, and what advertisements ran during the program, so you can analyze the time allotted for coverage of different issues, as well as who the major advertisers are on different broadcast news networks. Also includes RealVideo (online video) access to CNN programs from 1998-present.
Newspaper Association of America

CJR Daily: Real-Time Media Criticism from the Columbia Journalism Review
