The Factbook is a comprehensive resource of facts and statistics on more than 250 countries and other entities, including information on people, the government, the economy, and more, produced by the CIA's Directorate of Intelligence. The online version is periodically updated throughout the year.

HAPI - Hispanic American Periodicals Index (UA access only)
Includes citations to articles about US-Hispanic and Latin American topics. Articles may be in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish from more than 500 scholarly journals worldwide. Appropriate subject headings include: "mass media - Panama", "journalism - Panama", and "newspapers - Panama". Use the thesaurus to find additional appropriate subject headings for Panama.
HLAS - Handbook of Latin American Studies (open access)
This resource may be of limited use, but is still worth a look. This index includes citations and abstracts to books, chapters in books, and journal articles about all aspects of Latin American studies. Many of the indexed publications are published in Latin America.
