General Tips about Finding Information and Writing Your Paper
The Library does not own every journal or book that you find in the indexes that you use. All article indexes listed above include a link (Article Linker) to the library catalog or to the full-text of the article.
Finding information is just one part of the research process. The other half is writing a paper that accurately expresses your views and demonstrates that you understood both the research process and the information you found.
You can get one-on-one help at the UA Writing Center, call to make an appointment. Purdue University's Online Writing Lab website has resources that can help in the writing process.
Plagiarism --
it is critical that you cite sources that you consulted and used in your paper. This site provides tips on avoiding plagiarism with examples of acceptable and unacceptable paraphrasing.
The Plagiarism Court: You Be the Judge -- includes both Flash and HTML versions of presentation/quiz from Fairfield University.
UA Library Citation Guide will help you format your citations correctly.
