Monthly Labor Review. 1981-present
Monthly government publication that has articles about workplace issues and provides up-to-date employment and wage information. You can browse through the Current Issue or the Archives. Use the Index to find articles by topic. Some useful articles include:
- Occupational Employment Projections to 2014 from the Nov. 2005 issue
- Rankings of full-time occupations, by earnings, 2000 from the March 2002 issue
National Compensation Survey from the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Statistics
- Provides comprehensive measures of occupational earnings, compensation cost trends, benefit incidence, and detailed plan provisions.
- Detailed occupational earnings for metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas, broad geographic regions, and on a national basis.
- The Employment Cost Index (ECI) component of the NCS measures changes in labor costs.
- Average hourly employer cost for employee compensation is presented in the Employer Costs for Employee Compensation (ECEC) report.
