Obtaining UA Dissertations & Theses

Individuals wishing to obtain copies of UA dissertations or theses owned by the UA Library who live outside the Tucson area have the following options available.

InterLibrary Loan

The University of Arizona Library does not loan library materials directly to non-affiliated individuals. However, InterLibrary loans may be requested through your college or university library if you are a student, faculty or staff, or though your local public library.  

Our InterLibrary Loan department charges $25 for loans in the United States and $37 for international loans.

Purchase

Copies of unbound shrink-wrapped UA dissertations and many UA theses can be purchased online directly from ProQuest UMI Dissertation Express.

Cost (including shipping and handling):  $41 in North America. All other locations:  $44 regular delivery or $68 express delivery.
