Description:

Encore! The Fabulous Vaudeville Follies, a free, public program in the University of Arizona Main Library, East Lobby, will feature UA's musical theater majors group performing 50 minutes of vaudevillian show music giving audience members a chance to hear the songs of a bygone, but deeply influential, era in American entertainment.

The performance is being held in conjunction with Curtain Call, an exhibit on vaudeville's impact on entertainment and its reflection of late-19th and early 20th-century American society and history featuring artifacts from the University Libraries' vaudeville collections. Curtain Call will be on display in the Special Collections lobby from January 11 to May 21, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
