40th Anniversary Earth Day Exhibit

The Progressive Librarians Guild UA Student Chapter is marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day with an exhibit featuring books and library resources on environmental science, a "birthday cake" made from recycled materials and a tribute to Gaylord Nelson, the founder and father of Earth Day.
The display, in the lobby of the Science-Engineering Library, includes publications about varied facets of environmental science from biodiversity to pollution prevention to water management and details about the life of Nelson and what inspired him to create Earth Day. The exhibit will be available for viewing from April 12 to April 30.
