The University Libraries are pleased to offer trial access to British Literary Manuscripts Online. This database consists of two parts: British Literary Manuscripts Online, c. 1660-1900, and British Literary Manuscripts Online, Medieval and Renaissance.

British Literary Manuscripts Online, c. 1660-1900 includes more than 400,000 pages of manuscripts of Britain's major authors, and includes poems, novels, private correspondence, diaries, journals, drawings, and hand-written notes. The manuscripts are sources from major libraries in Britain and the U.S., including the British Library, the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Huntington Library, and more. British Literary Manuscripts Online, Medieval and Renaissance, includes more than 380,000 pages of manuscripts c.1150 to 1660, including poems, romances, tales, chronicles, sermons, and correspondence as well as theological and historical sources.
