The University Libraries are pleased to offer trial access to Women and Social Movements International, 1840 to Present.
This database includes digitized collections of primary materials drawn from more than 300 repositories. Content includes writings of women activists, their personal letters and diaries, and conference proceedings of dozens of women's organizations. At completion, the collection will contain 150,000 pages, mainly in-copyright and previously unpublished primary sources.
About seven percent of the materials are in languages other than English. Original essays by leading scholars complement the primary sources. Fully integrated into the collection are hundreds of entries from the Dictionary of Women's International Organizations. A list of partner archives and conference and organizations covered in the collection is available at http://alexanderstreet.com/products/women-and-social-movements-international.
Access this trial database through May 16, 2014.
