Celebrate Open Access Week
Our Open Access Week events will address issues of how to make one’s scholarship more actionable. They are free to attend, and refreshments will be served.
The goal of every scholar is to create new knowledge that will positively impact the world. But that impact can be muted if access is constrained or if research results can’t be replicated. On the occasion of International Open Access Week, members of our academic community are providing opportunities to explore these issues. Established by SPARC and partners in the student community in 2008, International Open Access Week is an opportunity to take action in making openness the default for research—to raise the visibility of scholarship, accelerate research, and turn breakthroughs into better lives.
