Silent Films Online
Silent Film Online brings together films which together represent the basis of modern cinematic technique and film theory. The database covers silent features, serials, and shorts from the 1890s to the 1930s.

Media Education Foundation
The Media Education Foundation video collection includes 120 streaming documentary films about the social, political, and cultural impact of American mass media, especially in relation to gender, race, class, health, and consumerism.

Statistical Abstracts of the U. S.
The ProQuest Statistical Abstract of the United States is the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic conditions of the United States.
