U.S. Statistics

ProQuest Statistical Insight (formerly Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe) is a comprehensive source to federal statistics. This service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications on Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe and government Web sites. This source also provides abstracts and indexing to US (ASI) and state and local governments (SRI) and privately published and international and intergovernmental statistical sources (IIS). (Available only to UA.)

Census Bureau Home Page - Facts and statistics about the U.S. Including information on population, housing, the economy, geography, and the marketplace.

ChildStats.gov - This website offers easy access to statistics and reports on children and families, including: family and social environment, economic circumstances, health care, physical environment and safety, behavior, education and health.

Data and Statistics (from USA.gov) - Statistics from the US government covering the following topics: general government, business and economics, defense and international relations, environment, energy, and agriculture, family, home, and community, geospatial data, health and nutrition, jobs and education, public safety and law, science and technology, travel, transportation, and recreation.

Statistical Abstract of the United States - Collection of statistics and graphs on economics, health and nutrition, population, vital statistics, education, energy, state and local government and more. Earlier editions are also available online.

Official U.S. Time - This public service is cooperatively provided by the two time agencies of United States: a Department of Commerce agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and its military counterpart, the U. S. Naval Observatory (USNO).

Calculator.com - Free access to online calculators to help you solve problems and answer questions in the home, office, and school. There are calculators for finance, business, and science.

Calculator.org - Calculator.org has a number of calculator related resources, including an online scientific calculator, units conversion and constants database, and other information. Visitors can also download Calc98, a free scientific, engineering, statistical and financial calculator for Windows and PocketPC. The site has won many awards, including a StudyWeb Academic Excellence Award, and the software was a winner in the 1998 Shareware Industry Awards.
