Census of Agriculture

US Dept of Agriculture site; provides state/county data, agriculture atlas, special studies by type, agency information, historical data, etc.

Congressional Research Service Reports

As part of the National Library for the Environment, this site provides Congressional Research Service reports on the environment, agriculture, natural resources, and related subjects.

FAOSTAT (Food and Agriculture Organization)

Provides access to over 3 million time-series and cross sectional  data relating to food and agriculture. FAOSTAT contains data for 200 countries and more than 200 primary products and inputs, just in its core. 

National Agricultural Statistics Service

NASS provides statistics on every facet of US agriculture.

USDA Economics and Statistics System

The USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System (ESMIS) is a collaborative project between Albert R. Mann Library at Cornell University and several agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The system contains nearly 2500 reports and datasets. These materials cover U.S. and international agriculture and related topics.

U.S. STATISTICS

infoLexis Nexis Statistical Universe Limited to University of Arizona students, faculty, staff and library users.

Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe is a comprehensive source to federal statisitcs. This service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications on Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe and government Web sites. This source also provides abstracts and indexing to US (ASI) and state and local governments (SRI) and privately published and international and intergovernmental statistical sources (IIS).

Authoritative real-time information on the international business, economic and trade community, from the Federal government. Includes the National Trade Data Bank, which provides specific political and trade information for hundreds of countries.

Arizona Economic Data Center

The Arizona Economic Data Center (AEDC) provides electronic access to information related to Arizona's economy. This full-text database provides Arizona related economic, business, and demographic information for current and retrospective (as available) data for the State of Arizona, the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas, and other Arizona counties and municipalities if available.
