The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project which maintains four bibliographic databases containing access to more than 6 million records: Astronomy and Astrophyics, Instrumentation, Physics and geophysics, and the arXiv e-prints (prepritn s in astronomy and physics).
INSPEC comprehensively covers the research literature in physics, astronomy and astrophysics, optics and optoelectronics, electrical engineering, electronics, computers and computing technology.

National Technical Information Service
Index to results of U.S. sponsored research, development and engineering, plus analyses prepared by federal agencies, their contractors or grantees. Some state and local government agencies contribute their reports to this database. Other countries included are Japan, Germany, France, the U.K. and other leading industrialized nations.
