ALA Resources for Parents, Teens and Kids
Divided into categories for kids, teens, parents and families. Includes award winning children's book lists as well as recommended items in other formats. Developed by the American Library Association.

Carol Hurst's Children's Literature Site

The Children's Literature Web Guide

"The Children's Literature Web Guide is an attempt to gather together and categorize the growing number of Internet resources related to books for Children and Young Adults. Much of the information that you can find through these pages is provided by others: fans, schools, libraries and commercial enterprises involved in the book world."

K.E. Vandergrift's Special Interest Page
Includes information on such topics as :Linking Literature with Learning, A History of Children's Literature, Censorship and Copyright. Author is a professor at Rutgers University, School of Communication, Information and Library Studies.

CCBC-net
CCBC-net is a listserv (subscription-based discussion by e-mail) devoted to children's literature; every month, a new topic is discussed. You can use this listserv two ways: browse the topics listed in the archives, or join the list and receive the discussion as it happens (warning: subscription will generate lots of e-mail). Past topics include evaluating Native American children's books, the Harry Potter phenomenon, and Caldecott arward.
