American Memory Project at the Library of Congress includes maps for the time period.

David Rumsey Map Collection
Contains images of thousands of historical maps. "The collection focuses on rare 18th and 19th century North and South America maps and other cartographic materials. Historic maps of the World, Europe, Asia and Africa are also represented.

Historic Cities
Contains maps, litrature, documents, books and other relevant materials concerning the past, present, and future of historic cities.

Historical Maps
More than 100 historical maps from around the world. Brief descriptive information is included for each map. Browsable by region, time period, or mapmaker name. Searchable by keyword, mapmaker name, or region.

Maps of the Pimería: Early Cartography of the Southwest
"Pimería was a province or region--never precisely defined--of Spanish colonial Mexico encompassing what is now southern Arizona and northern Sonora, the name being derived from the Pima Indians who live in the region." This site includes over twenty-five maps, ranging in date from 1556 to 1854.

Web de Anza
An interactive study environment on Spanish exploration and colonization of "Alta California" 1774-1776."  Contains primary source materials, maps, pictures, and more information about two eighteenth-century Spanish overland expeditions from Sonora (Arizona) in New Spain to northern California.
