Holds approximately 27,000 full-text poems, as well as over two hundred author biographies. New entries made to subsequent editions will be added to this database.

The Academy of American Poets site is dedicated to supporting the art of poetry on a national level. The Academy for example maintains a calendar of national poetry events which is searchable by poet, date, region, or type of event. Poetry Society of America - Resource Web Directory is a large directory of links to poetry journals, publishers and small presses, literary organizations, poetry colonies, conferences, festivals, and contests.
The Internet Poetry Archive contains selected poems from contemporary poets, including Philip Levine and Nobel Prize winners Seamus Heaney and Czeslaw Milosz. The archives include audio clips (n ative language and English versions) of the poet reading and commenting on his/her poems, photographs and other graphics, texts of the poems, critical biographies, and short bibliographies.
