Elsie Phillips Collection The Phillips Collection, originally the University of Arizona collection of popular music, was renamed after Elsie Phillips, the first University of Arizona Music Librarian. The collection contains music to 5,000 tunes. Please ask at Fine Arts reference desk for assistance.

Historic American Sheet Music - digitized sheet music from Duke University's Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library. The database can be searched by keyword or browsed by subject, illustration type, advertisements found in the sheet music, or by decade.

Indiana University Sheet Music Collection. Sheet music is held in several repositories at Indiana University. This web site allows you to search some of the holdings from the Lilly Library's approximately 150,000 pieces of sheet music, including those for which there are digitized images available.

The Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music The Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music is part of Special Collections at the Milton S. Eisenhower Library of The Johns Hopkins University. It contains over 29,000 pieces of music and focuses on popular American music spanning the period 1780 to 1960. All pieces of the collection are indexed on this site and a search will retrieve a catalog description of the pieces. An image of the cover and each page of music will also be retrieved if the music was published before 1923 and is in the public domain.

Popular American Music Collection (UCLA) a research collection covering the history of popular music in the United States from 1790 to the present. The collection, fully accessible at the item level through the UCLA Library Orion2 catalog, is one of the largest in the country, numbering almost 450,000 pieces of sheet music, anthologies, and arrangements for band and orchestra. The collection also includes 62,500 recordings on disc, tape, and cylinder.
Second Hand Songs: A Cover Songs Database. Find out who performed the original version of a particular song, or who covered that song. The database already contains 46377 songs (11875 originals, 33135 cover songs and 1367 songs with samples) and 17586 artists (performers and songwriters).
Sheet Music Collection (UW-Milwaukee) - Indexes a small but growing collection of sheet music, mostly popular songs from the 1890s to the 1940s, some patriotic war songs, love songs, songs from movies, sacred songs, etc., from University of Wisconsin's Music Library.
