The official site for the member states of the European Patent Office. EPO provides online searchign and viewing of issued patents and published paatent applications of its member states. European patents may be published in French, German or English. (Claims are published in all three languages.)
Free access to more than 60 million patent documents from all EPO member states. Years of coverage will vary by country based on the date they joined the European Patent Office.

This searchable database contains full text of patents issued or publicly-registered after August 15, 1978. The free database of Canadian patents and laid-open patent applications has been made available by Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
