Architecture Collection at University of Arizona

Architecture and Building: Net Resources
This is one of the first attempts to provide a clearinghouse of links for Architecture resources on the web. A valuable feature of this site is a short description of almost every site.

Cities and Buildings Database
Include digitized images of buildings and cities from all historic periods from around the world. 

Cyburbia.org: Internet Reources for the Built Environment
A very good guide from the University of Buffalo School of Architecture. It includes a search interface and descriptions of the various links in the fields of Architecture,Planning and Landscape Architecture.

dmoz.org Urban and Regional Planning Directory

Covers topics such as growth and sprawl, historic preservation, transportation, and sustainability. Part of the Open Directory Project.

Ecogateway Anthologies -- Land Use
Features links to sites from around the country concerned with smart growth.

Geoplace
Handy resource for GIS publications (print and electronic).

Historic Cities
Contains maps, litrature, documents, books and other relevant materials concerning the past, present, and future of historic cities.

National Building Museum

Hosts physical and virtual exhibits dedicated to exploring architecture, design, engineering, construction, and urban planning. Includes transcripts of lectures and issues of the museum publication Blueprints.

Planetizen
Fabulous resource for all things Planning. Self-identified as the Planning and Development Network. Look for jobs, read news articles, listen to podcasts, look for calls for papers, and don't forget to check out the Top 10 Web sites. You'll want to bookmark this one!

Planning Reports
You can find previous Planning Program's Masters Reports from 2004-present at this site. Use the Browse function by major to find all Master's Reports in the database.  Older reports can be found at the Fine Arts Library in print, although the collection is not comprehensive.  To submit your master's report, contact the Planning Librarian or the Planning Program for more information.

Smart Growth Resource Library

Provides access to reports, Web sites, tools and case studies covering topics such as transportation, housing, and urban design. Part of the Smart Growth Network, a response to increasing community concerns about the need for new ways to grow that boost the economy, protect the environment, and enhance community vitality. 

Urban Planning and Regional Planning from Google - this links to the Urban Planning section of Google's directory.

Urbanism.org

A news site dealing with culture and urbanism. Articles are pulled from a wide range of international newspapers.

Western Futures
Devoted to development, land use, and population trends in the American west.
