Online Appeal Form


Use this form to contact UA Library Billing staff for any billing or fees issues that cannot be resolved at a Library service desk or that require addional actions by Billing Staff such as a credit for returned items billed to your UA Bursar Account.

Library staff will review your account and respond to you within one business day.

Please note that the following are not grounds for disputing late fees and replacement charges:

  • A lack of knowledge of University of Arizona Library borrowing policies.
  • Being out of town. Library borrowing policies are in effect throughout the year – there are no exceptions for university holidays. If you plan on travelling outside of Tucson for more than 10 days, you should consider making arrangements for returning items that may be recalled or overdue.
  • Failure to receive library notices of any kind.

Request for Credit to Bursar Account - For billed items that have been returned to the library. Please note - Replacement charges transferred to the bursar include a non-refundable billing fee of $40 for books, journals and media material and $75.00 for Library laptops. (Requests for credit received before 2pm Monday-Friday will be processed by 3pm that day. Requests received after 3pm will be processed by 3pm the following day.)

Claims Returned - You believe that library material currently checked out to to your Library account has already been returned. Please include the full call number for the item(s) in the Comments box below.

Other: This includes requests for information/clarification about Library Fees on your Library account or Bursar account. Please type your question(s) in the comment box below.
