Main & Science-Engineering Libraries ONLY:

A staff member of the Materials Access Team (MAT) will be responsible for assisting customers with disabilities in the physical retrieval of books, bound journals, current periodicals, newspapers, media and microforms in the Main and Science-Engineering Libraries.

This service will be provided Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. when the Library is open. Up to 10 volumes will be retrieved for a customer within 2 hours of submitting a written request. Although the Circulation Desk staff will try to respond to requests for assistance as quickly as possible, response in less than two hours simply cannot be promised.

Customers must have complete call number information before making their requests. If assistance is required in determining call numbers, users should consult the staff in the appropriate reference area before proceeding to the Circulation Desk.

Arrangements for evening, weekend, and holiday service must be made in advance through the Materials Access Team (MAT) at (520) 621-6406, or the Disability Resource Center (DRC) at (520) 621-3268.

Requests exceeding the 10 item limitation or requiring faster response than two hours must be made through DRC.
