Laptops and MacBooks: 4 hours
Netbooks, iPads, ThinkPad tablets, and Wireless iPad Keyboards: 72 hours
If enough available, you may check-out equipment again
How can I check one out?
Go to the service desk at any of the following locations:
Main Library Information Commons, 1st floor
Science-Engineering Library, 2nd floor lobby
Fine Arts Library, Music Building 2nd floor
Bring a valid CatCard. You will be asked to sign an Computer Equipment Loan Agreement form prior to check-out.
What about checking it back in?
You must return the equipment to the same place where you checked it out. All components, like carrying cases, power adapters, and cables, need to be returned at the same time. You are solely responsible and if lost, damaged, or more than 24 hours overdue, you will be charged a replacement fee. If the equipment is returned in good condition, the fee will be reduced to a billing fee.

4 hour laptop computers are wireless-ready and come preloaded with software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and more. Personal software cannot be loaded on these computers.

Apple MacBook -- specifications
72 hour netbooks, iPads, ThinkPad tablets are wireless ready and come preloaded with software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and more. Personal software can be downloaded onto these computers. All downloaded programs and apps will be erased from the netbook or iPad when returned.
