Stream a film

If you are an instructor who would like to show a VHS or DVD in class, request it through our video streaming service by logging into your account and selecting the option to "Request Streaming Video."

The requested media will be digitized and you will be sent a link to access the streaming material online. For more information, see our Frequently Asked Questions about Video Streaming.

Request a physical copy

All VHS and DVDs are in closed stacks and must be obtained through Express Retrieval. Request one to be held for you by clicking the "Recall or Express Retrieval" button from the item record within our catalog. Go to our Guide for Finding Films, Videos, and DVDs for searching tips.

For 16mm films, book through Document Delivery using the contact information below. You will also need to contact Equipment Services to ensure that you have the proper equipment to show the film.
