Circulation periods and check-outs

Find out about circulation periods, check-out limits, holds, recalls, and more.

Proxy card request form

Fill out this form, then fax, mail or bring it in to obtain a library card for your research assistant to check out materials on your behalf. You will be contacted when the card is ready (within 48 hours or less).

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is a service that provides access to materials not owned by the UA Libraries. If you do not need the entire book, Document Delivery can copy book chapters and put them in PDF form for you.

Express Retrievals and Recalls

Items can be retrieved, recalled and placed on hold for UA faculty and students.

Suggest a Purchase

Recommend materials for the library to purchase.
