Requesting Book Chapters and Journal Articles

INSTRUCTORS: Please use the NEW FORM to request videos, book chapters, and journal articles!

Instructors no longer need to provide photocopies for scanning! Library staff will acquire and scan articles or book chapters free of charge.  You'll receive a link to the corresponding PDF file within 3-5 business days!

Starting August 2007: Instructors no longer need to place VHS tapes and DVDs on Physical Reserves! Library staff will acquire and encode videos free of charge.  You'll receive a link to the streamed video file within 3-5 business days!

All audio selections must be accessible as streaming sound within the ERes database to comply with copyright restrictions. Please call (520) 621-2348 or email us for additional instructions.

Requesting Complete Books

Please use the form below for placing complete books on Reserves.

General Guidelines

  • Library-owned material will be removed from Reserves status immediately after the semester ends.
  • A maximum of 75 physical items may be placed on Reserves per course each semester.
  • Requests for new books that are not currently in the library's collection will be rush-ordered. Please include the PUBLISHER, YEAR, and ISBN NUMBER for faster processing.

Complete Book
Will Circulate from the library's Open Reserves area. Material will be returned to the library's general collections immediately after the semester ends.
