Who can use this room?

Current UA faculty and enrolled graduate students  

Study, read, relax or reflect on the day

Faculty and graduate students have equal access to the room

Small group work/conversations (2-5 people) allowed

Seating for up to 35 people

CatCard must be swiped for entry

Main Library, 2nd floor

What's in this room?

Comfortable furniture

Collaboration area with wall-mounted LCD monitor

Can I reserve this room?

Scholars' Corner is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Multiple groups can use the room at the same time.

Users cannot exclude others from using Scholars' Corner.

Can I hold my office hours/class in this room?

Scholars' Corner is intended for individual or small group learning or research.

Faculty can use the room to develop course work or prepare for instruction.

Graduate students can use the room for group or individual work that is course-related.

The room is not intended to be used as a classroom, for seminars, workshops, break out groups from courses, or office hours.

Can I host a large group in the room?

Large groups should use the reservable large group study rooms available throughout the Main Library.

Can I leave my books and possessions in the room?

Library books or personal possessions should not be left unattended in the room.

Library books and other library material will be removed daily.

Graduate lockers are located nearby and can be reserved on a semester basis.  Additional lockers are available at the Library's main entrance and can be used to store personal possessions and library books that have been checked out.
