Using the Collections

Special Collections is open to members of the UA community, visiting scholars, and the general public. All visitors are required to observe the rules, regulations and policies of Special Collections.

Please note: It is not necessary to make an appointment to use Special Collections, however, if you have an in-depth research question, it may be best to contact a librarian or archivist via the online web form prior to your visit. We also encourage you to use our searching tools to become familiar with the collection before visiting Special Collections.

Material must be viewed in the Special Collections Reading Room and may not be photocopied, photographed, or scanned by customers.

Here is a list of our policies and forms. You will also find them listed under the appropriate sections throughout this web site.
