Help for Our Users

Please note: Appointments are not required to use Special Collections. However, if you have an in-depth research question, it may be best to contact a librarian or archivist via the online web form prior to your visit. We also encourage you to use our searching tools to become familiar with the collection before visiting Special Collections.

Special Collections welcomes inquiries about our collections via our online web form. Due to a limited amount of staff time, Special Collections archivists and librarians can only devote 30 minutes to answering each inquiry. More in-depth research requires the researcher to visit Special Collections.

Instruction

The University of Arizona Library encourages the use of Special Collections in graduate and undergraduate classes. Instructors interested in using Special Collections in their classes should contact a librarian or archivist at least several weeks in advance to make arrangements. Librarians are also available to provide instruction to classes on how to use Special Collections.
